Parish Refugee Resettlement Ministry“Whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.” (Mt. 25:40) With these words, Jesus reminds us that we encounter Him in every person we meet and hat by serving them, we are serving Him. The main purpose of the Refugee Resettlement Ministry is to provide support to refugee families so they will become self-reliant members of society. As a parish, our involvement is crucial to the success of this ministry. We need people who have talents or skills to aid the refugees as well as time, patience and understanding for the persecuted. By helping the refugees we strengthen our faith through the Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy. |
